Riverford
To capture the true Riverford spirit, these paragraphs lean into their "unashamedly nerdy" love for veg and their founder Guy Singh-Watson’s famous no-nonsense approach to organic farming. Riverford Organic Farmers: The Best Show in Town "Everything we grow, make and sell is 100% organic and slow-grown for flavour - the way food should be," say the team at Riverford. For over 30 years, they’ve been "proper farmers with mud on their boots," proving that you don’t need artificial nasties to grow the "carrotiest carrots" or spuds like your grandad used to grow. Their philosophy is simple: look after the soil, and it will look after the crop. By choosing the tastiest varieties rather than the highest yields, they ensure that every bite is a celebration of what nature can do when left to its own beautiful, ecological devices. Now a proudly employee-owned B Corp, Riverford isn't just about veg boxes; they’re about a "good food revolution" that rejects the greed of industrial farming. They never air-freight, they’ve ditched the greenwash for home-compostable packaging, and they believe that "amazing veg has the power to change lives." Returning to the gardens this year, they invite the VERVE collective to eat with the seasons and put the "green stuff" at the heart of the plate. As founder Guy Singh-Watson puts it: "We do it our way," focusing on a fair deal for farmers, for the soil and for the planet.

MOA
MOA create natural and organic skincare, made in Somerset, inspired by old herbal folklore and with a sprinkling of magic! MOA’s hero herb, yarrow (Achillea Millefolium), is an ancient healing herb, used for millennia to protect and repair. The organic yarrow grown in Somerset is slowly transformed into a potent herbal extract and used as an active ingredient within MOA potions. Shrouded by tales of folklore, the miraculous powers of this ancient healing herb have been used for millennia to protect and repair. Named after Greek hero Achilles, who legend has it, used it to heal his soldiers’ wounds after battle. Guided by her daughter’s eczema, Charlie formulates every product with sensitive skin in mind, ensuring they are gentle, yet effective, and rooted in traditional herbal wisdom. MOA products combine yarrow with carefully selected herbal extracts and botanical oils to create products that soothe, cleanse and revitalise. Taking time to slow down and nurture oneself is important to our wellbeing, a simple daily ritual creates a therapeutic effect on both mind and body. MOA formulas are cruelty free and free from petrochemicals (mineral oil), parabens, SLS, phthalates, fillers and artificial fragrance and colours. It is our belief that beautiful packaging shouldn’t come at a cost to Mother Earth and each product is consciously created with intention and love.
