VERVE unfolds as a weekend of rhythm, ritual and a sense of discovery - where each day begins with gentle morning movement beneath open skies, breath syncing with birdsong and light filtering through the trees.
Across the lawns, you might find Qi Gong on the Main Lawn - echoing the slow, collective flow of public parks in China - a moment of stillness and connection.
The days open out into a rich weave of experience: thought-provoking talks, hands-on craft (a new addition this year), and spaces designed for both activation and integration. For the first time, we welcome the FOLDE Literary Garden - a dedicated area for words, reading, ideas and storytelling, offering a quieter layer to the weekend.
As the energy builds, VERVE shifts and expands - into ecstatic dance beneath the trees, late-night wandering, a silent disco under the stars, and the unexpected magic of two pianos waiting to be played somewhere on site.
All of this unfolds within the extraordinary setting of Larmer Tree Gardens - where peacocks wander freely, follies appear between the trees and every corner holds the potential for discovery.
With a carefully curated programme featuring festival-first acts and rare appearances you’re unlikely to encounter elsewhere, VERVE is about following what draws you and allowing the weekend to reveal itself as you move through it.

THE FOLDE LITERARY GARDEN
New for this year, The FOLDE Literary Garden brings books, ideas and quiet moments into the heart of VERVE. Created in partnership with FOLDE Dorset, this dedicated space invites festival-goers to slow down, browse and reconnect with the written word between sessions.
Across the weekend, FOLDE will host a beautifully curated pop-up bookshop within the gardens, featuring titles on nature writing, wellbeing, folklore and inspiring ideas.
MUSIC
Music that creates atmosphere, feeling and connection. Across the weekend, discover ambient sets, kirtan, soulful soundscapes and gentle rhythms that flow through the gardens and elevate each moment. Expect acoustic performances, curated DJs, sonic journeys and warm, melodic sessions that accompany sunrise practices, afternoon gatherings and easeful evenings under the trees
THE SPA
A serene healing space nestled among the trees. Massage, bodywork, energy therapies, tarot and slow rituals invite you to unwind, restore and reconnect with your body
