We are serious about looking after the farm, our community and the planet.  We will ensure that all the following areas are covered at VERVE.

Low food miles – all our food and drink will be sourced from as close as possible to the Chalke Valley

Low/No plastic – we will provide free water stations, and request that all our suppliers use zero, or the absolute minimum amount of plastic possible during VERVE

Community – we want to keep VERVE suppliers and partners as local as possible, and celebrate the abundance of local talent, brands and companies.  The Chalke Valley is a place of wonderful community spirit. We want to create a legacy for our local friends and family to enjoy for years to come.

Waste – all waste will be disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Our pledge is to recycle 100% of waste so nothing ends up on a landfill site.

Charity – we will donate a percentage of our profit to mental health charity MIND

Our Ethos

We want to work with, and welcome, small, like minded, brands and companies that share our values of doing the right thing, looking after our earth and being good to one another.

VERVE Festival will work with partners, sponsors and suppliers who:

  • Encourage genuine mental and physical wellness as part of their brand and marketing plan

  • Do not discriminate against customers or their staff in terms of age, gender, disability, sexuality or race

  • Encourage a sustainable approach to the way they do business e.g. through a local economy approach, reduced carbon footprint or low food miles, have good production ethics, ensure fair equal pay for their staff and/or have policies which encourage this.
