OUR STORY

Hi! We’re Anna and Charlotte, two friends and neighbours who met at a yoga class and quickly bonded over our joint passion for wellbeing. After years of working in the corporate world we both felt the urge to do something new, bringing together our love of fitness, food and drink, and health and wellness with our appreciation for the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. And so, after putting our heads together, the idea for VERVE was born!

GET TO KNOW ANNA HAYWARD

“After spending 20 years in London working as Sales Director for some of the world’s best hotel brands, I moved to Wiltshire in 2018 seeking a change of pace. I’ve always wanted to create a business encapsulating all the things I love – so when I met Charlotte and realised she felt similarly, a festival seemed like an ideal way to do it! I live in the Chalke Valley with my husband James and our dachshund Alan.”

GET TO KNOW CHARLOTTE CUMMINGS

“As a busy business owner and mum, I always knew there had to be more to life than long train journeys and boardrooms! After working across the country in banking and then as a management consultant, when I moved to Wiltshire in 2016 I felt I had found my own slice of paradise in the English countryside. Everyone knows I’m always keen for a challenge, whether it’s half-marathons, triathlons, or rock climbing. So when Anna and I had the idea to combine our interests, I jumped at the chance to share it with as many people as possible. I live next door to Anna with my husband Garry and our two children.”
